House & Accommodation Information

Cost:  Accommodation is free; ie All our guests are following either a cultural or educational program. Prices begin at 250 euro per day (as a flat fee for the group).
(Usually these programs are connected to some of archeological institutes or university conference organizers. Please ask for our 'Institutes meet Athens' Program if you are interested in these).

TRAVEL FROM AIRPORT
Yellow Taxis: from airport is about 45 euros and takes about 45 minutes. (Please note that after midnight until 6 a.m. is double tarif marked ‘2’ on taxi meter. Otherwise it is single tarif.  Luggage has a small extra charge. 
Avoid taxi drivers who do not follow these regulations.)
If you prefer METRO: We recommend going to AMBELOKIPI station.  From there you can take a taxi (downhill) to the house.  Address is: Fokionos Negri 23 & (corner) Eptanisou, in  Kipseli.  The taxi should not cost more than 3 or 4 euros plus small baggage charge.  The door bell says "Athenian BELL'.  It's on the 1st floor. 


Taxis within Athens are very inexpensive.  To get to historical centre it is about 5-6euros.  Tram/bus/metro tickets cost 1.40 p/person.

(8 euro per ticket) to "Ambelokipi" metro-station & take a taxi (for 5 euro) to "Fokionos Negri street and Drossopoulou in the Kipseli district).
